Sustainability Day at KOSTAL Business Services

On 11 November, KOSTAL hosted a company-wide Sustainability Day. The main event took place in Budapest. 

The initiative aims to raise awareness of the environmental and social impacts of business activities, communicate the KOSTAL Group’s Sustainability Strategy and current progress and foster dialogue on tangible everyday topics. 

In inspiring expert presentations, leaders provided insights into key areas: 

• József Böhm, Global Head of Sustainability, outlined KOSTAL’s strategy and long-term vision.
• Dr. Sebastian Pollmanns, Global Director Quality Laboratories and Member of the KOSTAL Group Sustainability Board, presented developments at KOSTAL Automobil Elektrik and achievements in product sustainability.
• Sebastian Petrausch, Group Legal Counsel of the KOSTAL Group, highlighted the connection between sustainability and compliance.

In the afternoon, employees participated in interactive, hands-on formats: 

• a roundtable discussion on how to create a greener home,
• a practical DIY recycling workshop and
• an educational sustainability quiz.

The roundtable discussion was inspired by “Creating a Greener Home” – a new, global magazine from the KOSTAL community featuring practical tips, personal stories, and eco‑friendly lifestyle ideas.
