In the awarded certificate Volkswagen acknowledges KOSTAL's performance in the New Mobility Solutions category with the following words:

A good performance in the quotation process and your local manufacturing in China provide you with a distinct competitive edge. With the help of your expertise and your innovative solutions the Volkswagen Group is driving the development of electric mobility forward significantly."
The fact that KOSTAL was able to win this award is attributed to the performance of the entire ONE KOSTAL Power Mechatronics team, emphasized Dr Laufenberg, who personally expressed his sincere appreciation for the commitment of the global KOSTAL R&D team in Dortmund, Abbeyfeale and Shanghai.
In an e-mail to all involved employees he wrote: "I am more than glad to receive this important award by Mr Mueller and Dr Garcia Sanz in front of around 200 suppliers of Volkswagen and congratulate all who contributed to this big success with very hard work."
